About

A co-educational CBSE day school in Pune, built on academics that hold up and character that lasts, since 1998.

Our school

Everest Senior Secondary School opened on Baner Road, Pune, in 1998, with 96 students in three grades. Today it is a co-educational CBSE day school of about 1,240 students from Class VI to Class XII, run by the Everest Education Trust on a purpose-built campus in Pashan.

What we set out to do

To run a school where academic standards are high, sections stay small, and no student is a stranger to a teacher. We report honestly to parents, and we treat sport, the arts, and character as part of the timetable, not extras.

How we work

  • Small sections of about 32 students, taught by subject specialists from Class VI.
  • Continuous assessment, so gaps are caught and closed early.
  • Counsellor-led stream and career guidance from Class IX.
  • Regular, truthful reporting to parents through the year.

From the Chairman
We built Everest to be the school we wanted for our own children: demanding in the classroom, kind in the corridor. Twenty-seven years on, that is still how we judge ourselves.
