Statutory policies

Policies and compliance statements

Child protection (POCSO)

Everest follows a written child-protection policy in line with the POCSO Act. All staff are trained, and any concern is acted on the same day by the child-protection committee.

Prevention of sexual harassment (POSH)

An Internal Committee constituted under the POSH Act, 2013 handles complaints from staff. It is chaired by a senior woman member and includes an external expert.

Anti-bullying and anti-ragging

A zero-tolerance policy on bullying and ragging. A standing committee investigates reports promptly, with counselling and stated consequences.

Grievance redressal

Concerns may be raised with the class teacher, then the coordinator, then the Principal. Written grievances are acknowledged within three working days.

Fee refund

Refunds on withdrawal follow the published fee-refund schedule shared at admission. There is no capitation fee at any stage.

Right to Education (RTE)

The school admits students from economically weaker sections under the RTE Act, and publishes the list of such admissions each year.

Transport safety

Every bus carries a trained attendant, GPS, a speed governor, and a first-aid kit, and is driven by a verified driver, in line with transport safety norms.
